The last orange leaves of autumn in a dense, dark forest. Fog lingers between the nearly bare trees, and a path beckons.
I talked my husband into driving up into the mountains with me on roads only his Jeep could traverse. I thought we were too late for fall images. Most of what I found were bare branches but this one tree had this beautiful splash of orange. It is the only fall image I got that year but one of my favorites.
